I bot an S-Video cable after lot of difficulties I could get the laptop conencted to TV but there is a problem with the color(I could see only a black and white picture) I am using the GE S-Video cable to connect and my laptop is Dell 700 M
not all tv's are capable of recieving an s-video (or composite video) signal from a laptop or pc. try it on a different tv and let me know how that worked out. the reason is because that signal is a conversion from digital. an s-video from a dvd player is already analog so there is no conversion.
