Ever thought of adding a second Sub?. Depending on your type of system, you may want to concider it. It made the difference with mine. Upload

I'm running two subs in my system as well. I found it filled in the bass quite nicely, made it seem less directional.

I notice you are using a cable with dual inputs connecting your sub. Does this make any difference?

What do you think of the Def Tech sub?

Yeah I run two subs in my home cinema granted I'd like each one to be the same but after doing a few test runs with a few special modifications where I use the 12" to low end from the LCR and surrounds with LFE.1 being run by a huge cinema JBL 18" JBL 4645 for LFE.1 only the blending of the low end gives good support without overwhelming the playback performance.

Three types of sound I'm looking out for is SLAM KICK and DEPTH!

My next purchase will most likely be a second sub.. do I just use a Y-cable to hook them up?

Yup. That's all I did. I actually have a Y adapter plugged into the sub-out jack on my receiver, then I run a cable to each of my subs.

Cool, sounds easy enough.

I just hope the wife doesn't notice the second sub. :\
