Finally finished my DIY cable project

those are pics of the final results, what do you think? Im considering making a tutorial, but i dont know if anyone would find interest in making cables like these.

thanks for the encouragement

i just made my second and third pair,

the second pair is neon blue, all terminated with vampire wire bananas and super thick ahesive tubing make a sturdy solid sealant.

the pics show how tough the termination is, no bending or strain what so ever.

the 3rd pair will go to ebay for auction.

the raw materials average $100 for a one PAIR of cables. Which is pretty expensive. I dont know if other DIY'rs are willing to invest that much cash on exotic cables.

Even though the cables $100 to make, it'll cost you 300-500 bucks are a boutique store.

Those are some pretty good looking cables, nice job.:-)

The thing with DIY cables is that people don't have to use the materials you are using. They can always mix and match and so they can customize their own set-up.
