Having cable...without a cable!?

I just moved into a new apartment and I want to put a small TV in my kitchen. The problem is, there is no cable outlet near the kitchen. I can't start digging into the walls to have one installed and I don't want to stretch an ugly long cable cord across the living room either.

Is there a component I can purchase that I can connect to the cable outlet that will transmit the cable signal across the room to a receiver on the small TV in the kitchen so I can watch cable there wirelessly?

On one hand I've never heard of anything like this. But on the other hand, you'd figure something like this HAS to exist and I'm just dumb for not knowing about it. I hope it does exist and it is a relatively inexpensive gadget that I can pick up easily at a place like RadioShack or CircuitCity or BestBuy. Thank you for any help in advance!

I haven't used this product, but here is one that is supposed to do what you need.
