Alpine 3533 car amp without a wire harness.
I bought this for $20 dollars in a garage sale.
Most amps have 3 connectors 12v positve, remote turn on, and ground. These are displayed by a piece of tape the previous owner put on the amp. What scares me though is that this amp is so old it is not on the Alpine site and that the wire harness plug actually has 6 connections. Removing the cover of the amp shows that if I follow the masking tape advice 12v positive will be connected to a yellow wire, remote = blue wire, ground = black wire. There are 3 more connections that are left in the socket. 1 red wire, 1 yellow wire, 1 black wire. I went to two local repair shops and was told they would not help me! ARGH!

Found help at a local repair shop. They had a book on this amp and was able to help me. The reason this amp has so many input connections is because the ground and 12v + inputs have been split into two wires each.
(The electrician guesses this may allow them to use smaller fuses)
