Bigger sealed box size?

I have a Rockford Fosgate R2D4-10 sub, and want to build a sealed box for it, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with bigger sealed boxes than the recommended volume. I have a hatchback, so we're not talking huge box, but I know building the box a little bigger will help those low notes resonate (I don't want a 12, bc I like to have the higher end bass too). The optimum volume recommended is 0.59 cubic ft with a range of .5 to .75 cubic ft. Could I go larger and make it sound good? If so,how much?
