at what ohm does this subwoffer perform at its best i want to run the rockford fosgat T1500 at 2 ohms for 2 13w6v2 or the JL 1000/1V2 AT 4 OHMS. They both cost the same on sonic electronics i just want whats best for my 2 13w6v2 and i would like to know which amp well perform better and be more cost affective. and which one well last longer im leaning toward the t1500 becasue ill get more for my dollar but the jl is obviously made for JL I JUST WANT THE BEST SOUND OVER ALL IM ADDING Kicker Big 3 Kit Rockford Fosgate RFC10HB to the system to help it perform later on ill do the HO alt
its going into a cadillac cts 08 do you think i have enough room in the trunk to fit two of them? Nobody even mentioned the JL 1000/1V2 isnt it worth mentioning
dude i have two 12w6s and a 500/1 and a 1000/1... i swap between the amps like pancakes..
even the 500/1 run them fine the two of them.. underpowered but their at the safest point possible u can be.. but with 1000/1 their lil monsters...
i had atomic 5kw amps.. kicker kx2500.1 hifonics amps rockford and alot of freaking amps...and trust me the jl are better in sound quality and use options.. their crossovers are one of the best...and those are really easy to work with...
im currently about to sell my 500/1 it can push 2 12w6s just fine and does a really nice job doing it.. the 1000/1 is just alil monster.. let me know if ur interested..
your running a 13w6 the optimal rms for them is exactly 500 rms.. but you can run safe 750 rms if you have the power stated on jl audio website.. these are high sq woofers.. one of the best sounding woofers you can get period.. not too loud but loud enough with the best sq you can get..
i would suggest a 500/1 trust me its 500rms but really clean watts and works amaxing with the w6s.. actually the 500./1 it was made especifically for the 13w6 as the 1000/1 was made especially for the 13w7.. i would only use the 1000/1 if you are going to run TWO 13w6s wich would be overkill...
bottom line... i would go with jl audio 13w6 with jl audio 500/1.... 1000/1 only if you got the money and you will be willing to add another 13w7 in the future.. (still if you choose a 500/1 u can buy another one if you add another 13w6 and the install will look soo much better)

I watched a video of 2 13w6 on you tube and that sh*t was making his windows flex and paper rip and sh*t im glad im getting the 13w6 i cant wait to drop it in my trunk to watch it flex everything im also going to invest in dynomat because it looks like im going to need it
IF i was to get the RFT1500 ON 2 x 13w6v2d4 i would hook them up at 4 ohms that 1,000watts easily for that amp but would it cause electricalissues in my car. i figured it wouldnt because it would be running at 4 ohms. IF i was to get RFt1000 i would have to run it at 1 ohm to thoughs subs but that would have that particular amp all the way cranked up what do you guys think i should do ill be getting the hybrid 10 cap for either one i cant do the JL 1000/V2 ITS TOO MUCH MONEY I GUESS or DO YOU THINK I SHOULD JUST SUCK IT UP AND GET THE 1000/V2
The jl jx and hd are both low end amps. The v2 is good, but will only give eacj sub 500 watts. You would need 2 to do the job right. Thats why I suggested the aq 2200, or a hifonics bxi 2000.
i dont know what dvc is i need to know if the JLHD1200 IS as good as the JL1000/1V2 BECAUSE THEY DONT SELL the 1000/1v2 anymore so im stuck with the hd and that amp doesnt look intimidiating to me i want to know if that amp well make 2 13w6v2 slam i want to knock peoples cell phone signal out when i ride by them
