Hey just wondering if its possible to hook up a guitar and mike to a car speaker system....i got a Alpine head unit with infinity speakers, JBL 12" subs, and a JBL amp...so is it possbile?
it's possible if the head unit has AUX inputs, and you have a line driver or pre-amp that would match the line signal voltages from the guitar and mic to the audio system and Alpine's line in voltages. The problem is guitars don't sound that fantastic run on solid state amplifiers. They work much better with tube based amps that give more first order "warmth" distortion.
