My 1996 Lincoln town car CARTIER with JBL Sound system keeps ejecting the 10 disc cartride when I press CD button on radio and usually ejects after dping this. I hear ir cycling the discs when I put it in and if someone holds it down then it will play. Any ideas. I just purchased the auto used with 65,000 miles and it was working. Is there something I am missing or dose it need to be reset?
something may have fallen into it and is keeping it from locking in, or check the carteidge to make sure the keyway that holds it in place is clean. you can unscrew it your self and shake it a little with it upside down...other than that, i'd have to see it myself to fully diagnos the prob....hope this helps ya
