actually, i just bought alpine sps-500 5 1/4 2 ways off ebay for 30 shipped. ill be powering them with my pioneer amp that does 50 rms x 2. i hope i made a good choice!

Those are LOUD on low power.

hey glasswolf or anyone what are some good 4x6s for a cavalier that can take about 75-100rms?

aren't really any super 4x6s, but the infinity kappa plates are really nice for that size. I used a set as rear fil in a Fiero, and they were pretty decent.

4x6 means fabricate something else in there. Thats about all there is to that.. and if they are in dash speakers dont put them there, sound will be terriable as the spakers have no enclosure. Fab up door speakers or kick panels

hay boss, those type-s 5 1/4's are what i have in the front doors of my jeep. they sounded like s**t off the head unit, so i finally got a cheap 2-channel from a friend and they sound awesome for what they are.

i think you'll be happy with them, there worth the price 4 sure
