i have heard a few 12's before, not too bad for the money
as far as in the same price and power handling range the only one that i see fitting there is the SDC2.5.
the ssd is nice but $60 more and the stuff on ssa in the same price range does not have quite the same power handling

I figured that, they seemed too good to be true at first glance. What would you recommend then? I'm not getting them right now, so I have time to figure out whats perfect.

Not positive on the budget. That would be ideal, but i can work with going higher. and I'm not worried about the box. One will be built for it

Nope. The power ratings haven't been established yet so I haven't picked one yet. I'm looking to decide on the subs first

ok, well the i reccomend you just get one 1000 rms 12" sub and port it, ficaraudio.com has an fi Q bnib shipped for 240, supreme SQ along with bOOm. I use to have the ssd, which is the line below that and i liked it.

How much rms are you looking to run? I ask this because if ur looking to run 1200+ then ur gonna wanna look into get a ho alternator which could run 200+ as well as a big 3 upgrade and a 2 gauge amp kit

Somewhere around that would be ideal. And I do know I need those upgrades

Fi subs are very good for sealed boxes

I don't see your problem with me saying somewhere around there. It gives a nice play area. I'm not saying i want to spent strictly 120 each sub. I'm open to prices which should make it easier. and thank you m.s. I was wondering that

If you wanted a good amount of sound, you could run 2 10" Fi SSDs in a sealed enclosure. It'd fit into the trunk well and would do nicely on ~1000 rms.

Thank you, i'm leaning that way now. Do you think that would be better than say, one fi Q? My first system was two ten inch mtx 4500 so you can imagine i'm looking to upgrade lol
