I have a 2010 Mercury Marinier and it has no bass at all!!! I am totally new to this stuff and I want some major bass! Right now I am deciding between 2 Rockford fosgate p1 10'' in a box and a Prime 500w rockford amp or 2 Kicker CVR 10'' in a box and 10D X 500 amp or something like that.
What should I do or if you know of something better please let me know I have a $1000 budget but thats including installing and stuff THANKS
You can do much better for one grand, much, much better. Look into a couple Fi SSDs, 12 inch should fit just fine. AQ1200D, and a custom built ported enclosure. You could run 1/0 gauge to the back, then use a distribution block to run 4 gauge to the amp. Look into a nice HU like Alpine or Pioneer. Later on you could invest in a good pair of components for a nice front stage, powered by a 2 channel amp.
