As some of you know I recently picked up an IDMAX d4 v2 for a very good price. I have been looking for a second and have not been able to find one.

I was thinking that I could get a v3 and put that in the box with the v2. Aside from the obvious: different looks. Would there be any problems with doing that? I have hear that the subs are essentially the same with some minor differences.

Or would this be like mismatching subs?

The Vas, Re and Fs differences could be an issue but the critical specs (imp and efficiency) are matching.

I thanks Brad.

I would like some people's personal oppinions on the subject. I dont know speakers well enough to figure out how the differences will effect the sound.
