I have everything i need , the general idea i have is to connect the battery + wire to the + terminal on the cap. then connect the + wire from the amp to the same terminal. The caps Ground wire gets bolted to my Chassis somewhere right?
if this is correct. are there any precautions i should take? such as charging it or whatever (its a used but in excellent 1 farad stinger cap)

never mind, got it hooked up. I will NEVER be able to go past security checkpoints at parking anymore. Damn cap looks like a bomb with the display lol

Dennis, did you charge the capacitor before you hooked it up?
