I have the Slim PS2 in my Show truk- fits in the glove compartment, I found a 12v cord from the Vid gaming store, either plug it into the cigarette lighter, OR cut the plug off and hardwire to a 12v source. IF u cant find the dc adaptor cable, then yes- u can use an invertor 12>110v, just more expense. The SLIM one takes 8.5 volts at like 6 amps- so instead of trying just any DC cable, I found the ONE for it at that vid game store less than $20 bucks. Must be one near you :-) U'll still need ur deck or head unit to have L&R & Vid INPUTs. IF ur deck doesnt, Audio Control 4.1i, has an AUX input so u can get the stereo signal into ur system (its a pre-amp/Para bass dash eq)- BUT- then u'll still need an INPUT for the video (assuming ur deck doesnt have a vid screen?) :-)
