Ported box for 2 12's

Does any have 1 for sale? Its for a friend and he just has 2 little MTX 4500 12's and he wants a ported box..I want the tuning to be around 34hz-40hz..anywhere in there. ALso if some one could give me dimensions for one so that i could build it for him?? His max dimensions are as follows: 38" Wide, 15" High, and 16" deep..thanks guys

I have a ported box at home. I go home 2mro so I can find out the dimensions and the tuning frequency. let me know if your interested.

thats what i want to do denim..thats why i gave you guys the max dimensions so someone could figure it out..cuz i dont how to do that..and i figured out that it needs to be 1.75 cu.ft each sub and the tuning needs to be 37hz

Did you check out the RE box designer? Its free and you can adjust the panel size and location to your limitations. And it will show you the tuning as you adjust.

MTX specs recommend about 2 cu ft per sub(ported), and you could probably get away with porting anywhere between 32 and 40 hz with _decent_ performance. I think the MTX sledgehammer boxes are ported around 38, but dont qoute me on that.

yeah i was actually bjs shop teacher in the mid 60s lol. he learned it all from me. lol. jk. but i have seen nothing but good work from him. his removable slot vents are top notch. and the wood used is very nice as well much lighter then mdf.
wouldnt hesitate to buy from him at all.

thanks guys but i used the RE website that denim suggested and it worked perfect..Im going to use that more often.
