Hell yeah. I can't wait to get it all setup. I today I met the guy who won "car wars" last year. His name is Cody. He has one JL audio 13w6 and a JL audio amp. Not sure what model the amp is. He hit 142dB last year. So I think my new setup will beat that. I hope.

Id rather get 2 15" alphas and those amps rather than an 18" HW. Maybe im wrong but arnt the HWs more of an SPL than SQL sub? I remember reading they wanted like 20kw for SPL bursts....

The Heavyweight is a MONSTER plain and simple. If you want a subwoofer to handle thousands of watts in a daily application, and to be heard from a mile away look no further. Built to order they can be designed for SQL applications, or more on the SPL side to handle over 25,000 watts for short bursts.

dude, you got the box building skills, don't buy a fisher customs if you have the skill and time. you just need a nice design, which people here can help you with.

True. And I'll start on the box design tonight. Haha I'm bored. And it needs to be tuned at 38-39.4 Hz. So yeah.

What do you think I will hit? My goal is 155 on music. With 2 18" HW. And an RD 7250.1D. That's later on in time though.

Got the box demensions. It's tuned at 39.408415339007 Hz. I think that's pretty close. The width is 25" wide x 23.3" height x depth 15". The port is 2.5" wide and 6.5" long. It tell me how long to cut everything too. So I'll work on that after I get the HW.

I think a bigger box then 5.5 cubes would be better. do you have room for 8cubes? it sounds good man. =) when do you plan on getting the hw? hehe. we can talk box designs and equipment if you would like. =) you have a big enough ride to make a good box. you can call me or text me at 1-505-592-5404 you have great box building skills so I think building your own box would be nice. =)
the hw v.2 is a great woofer for music. is no sq sub but it still sounds very good musical. and it gets crazy loud. =)
