Some dude my bro knows got a Crunch GP2500D to see how it would compare to his Kicker ZX750.1

The sub he has is a Soundstream T4-12" dual 1ohm.

All he did is take out the ZX750.1 and put the GP2500D in its place and I didn't notice a difference between the two.

The ZX750.1 is 2ohm stable and the GP2500D is 1ohm stable so there is more in the amp because he was running it at 2ohm.

I think the GP seies are better than people give credit.IMO

This was done by ear.

That would mean the crunch amp is probably overrated a little. The ZX750.1 may do up to 1000w at 2 ohm, that crunch amp is rated 1250w. They are probably just like hifonics since they are made my the same company. Also I seriously doubt that thing does 2500w at 1 ohm. Can usually tell when they say some BS like "Dynamic Music Watts" in the specs.........

Of course thats 2500 is max but I did not expect the Crunch GP2500D to beat on the sub like that at 2ohm since the amp is 1ohm stable.

I went to my bros today and the dude that bought the GP2500D was there. This time he had a Memphis MOJO 12" dual 2ohm so now he can run the amp at 1ohm and it is bangin. I don't know how much he payed for the GP2500D cause he went to a car audio shop. But I would pay $229 for the amp at Onlinecarstereo I want to see what the GP3000D-Pro is made of.
