Friday, December 07, 2007 - 05:28 GMT I want to install a switch or button to turn the subs completely off because my new setup is very very loud. The advice I was given was to get a spst switch and run it thru the remote wire. Is this what you guys would reccommend?

Friday, December 07, 2007 - 05:39 GMT Yes, just run a toggle switch inline on the remote wire. You can then turn your sub amp(s) on and off when you want.

Friday, December 07, 2007 - 05:46 GMT that could work, but your HU, like mine, may have a sub off option, where i can turn off the sub out on the HU if I want, meaning the amp won't even turn on unless I select the sub on option.

Friday, December 07, 2007 - 05:52 GMT I have the switch installed in the remote wire going to the sub amp. Works good when I want to listen to talk radio.

Friday, December 07, 2007 - 07:09 GMT ^^^^ROFL... Man, Paul Harvey...that's funny. Yeh, talk radio, those guys voices are too deep to listen to for any length of time. And yes, music gets old when you are driving for up to 8 hours in a day. I would like audio books, but I don't know where to get them... If I could take classes on CD, I'd be a PHD with as much time I spend behind the wheel.
