HAHAHAHAHA. Phil, you need to listen more. That's complete BS. I was offended by your ignorance, basically. There is no way in hell that you can say every rapper talks about @ss-shaking, and have any sort of an excuse for an arguement. You have a knack; that last statement offended me, too.

my ignorance? turn to MTV whenthey are playing mainly rap and count how many songs are about azz shaking money and chevys on 24s then count how many are about a real subject.
and stop taking offense to everything. if someone says something about your mom do you take offense every time? LIGHTEN UP
i like rap too but when i hear everyother song having a stupid subject like that its just sad

I need help on another song, it's an early/mid 90s song, goes something like, "ever since I was a lower case G, but now I'm a big G, h0es say I got the money, hundred dollar bills yall...if you were from where I'm from then you would no...."

"turn to MTV "

thats where you went wrong phil. all the "rap" on mtv is made for little 15 year girls. once you get outside the mtv circle, the songs are actually good and mean something.
what your talking about are songs that are played at the club and parties....they are meant for dancing(soulja boy dj unk) or getting god i hate saying this getting "crunk"(lil jon). everyone knows their songs are bad, but their catchy and people like to hear them.

cam dont say i got owned just cuz you feel butt hurt.
but listen I LIKE RAP. i just hate hearing the same idea in most songs just with a different beat.
THAT IS ALL. FuCK
the bad thing is the rap with a point doesnt get out to the public. so yes all you will see on TV is that kind of rap.

haha now i have hat stupid montell jordan song stuck in my head. i agree with phil though. and actually everyone lol. 99 percent of rappers sing about, 24s, ho.es, bit.ches, dranken, how much money they got. but then others have a point to their lyrics. more the older rap....but i ahvent heard any underground rap in a while. =( lil flip is the worst at generic rap. i cant stand listening to him. i like outkast, common, jay z,nas for their lyrics and three six mafia, lil whyte, for the beats =)
