It looks alright. I would rather run a pioneer or alpine though. I just never liked panasonic.

Ive got the Alpine CDA-9857, was 170 new two years back, sure you can find em on ebay for less now, works great for me, it's got the full speed ipod connection.

M.s got the idea.. go with a JVC you can get them cheap and there are badass HU from my expierience.... KD-g820 ;) or go with the arsenal line... Im going with the arsenal G820 next.. and money isnt a part of the problem... so you know i like there quality.. they go fro around 160 shipped on ebay i believe

I've always had a good experiences with JVC head units and they usually have pretty nice EQ systems and a lot of adjustability.The only thing that I hate about my KD SHX850 is that it doesn't have a play/pause button so it makes burping and such a little difficult.

My only one complaint about JVC is that the Aresnal line don't have a built in crossover.

That of course is not a problem if you have an amp on your main speakers. But if you run them off the HU you need bass blockers.


The x-over is not an expensive/complicated feature, IDK why they didn't include it.

My JVC HU has the built in crossover.Too bad I don't use it.I use DSP though.
