Which one do you think is better?

Kinetik vs Odyssey

Depends on what "better" is.

Equivalent models of those two brands will have about the same amount of power.

They both float at about the same voltage.

Odyssey batteries are built with toughness are the primary goal...... good for putting under the hood.

Kinetiks cost slightly less I think.

Also a tip if your looking at batteries: Stinger batts are actually Odyssey batts with stinger labels, and they usually cost more..... just throwin that out there

The Odyssey releases faster than the Kinetik. Therefore, it would be slightly better in a comp application. Daily, you wouldnt know the difference.

IIRC.

the stingers do release power and charge faster which is great for comps. but honestly i think id run an agm deepcycle battery for daily. have more storage capacity but also take a good amount of time to fully charge. imo but odessy and kinetik are both good choices and im sure youd be happy with either

nsb 90 is a beast. it would put both of the batteries you mentioned to shame. if you can make room to fit one under the hood the you are good to go. make sure you train it well.

some classes for comps limit bat size per catagory and or how many bats. the rage now is 16v charging systems.

Northstar batteries are GREAT, for competition that is. They aren't meant to be used in vehicles, and aren't designed to stand up the environment under the hood of a car. They're great if mounted inside though.

Hunterw:

Odyssey and Stinger batteries are exactly the same thing in a slightly different case with different labels. One is not better than the other, they are the same battery.
