Well, I finally got around to deadening my roof today. I ended up running out of Peel-n-Seal, but I got alot done.

Cleaned the roof off w/ acetone.

The first layer. It was kinda cool today and I didnt have a heat gun, so used a hair dryer. Just heated it up until it had some shine to it and rolled it on.

Got 3 layers on the back half of the roof, started on the second layer on the front half and ran out.

I'm going to do a total of 4 layers in the places that flex bad and 3 in the places w/ less flex.

More pics and results (by ear) tomorrow!

Like Kevin said, its in the roofing section. I bout the last 2 rolls Lowes in Monroe had. Going to check at Home Depot for more tomorrow.

I got it for ~$14 for a 6"x25' roll.

Not hard to install, just takes time.

Yep, I ran out. It went farther than I thought it would though. I'm going to get another roll or 2 tomorrow.

When I was into roofing it was called "flash burn". Some kind of substantial heat was needed to "set" the adhesive, (tar).
