ha, the first time i put it in the hu would not turn on. i figured i could troubleshoot it myself. i checked the ground, it was good. i checked to make sure the harness was securly into the hu, and it was. then i realized that i didnt connect the harness from the hu to the harness to the car. i must have been to excited and forgot about it.
cal, thanks for a wonderful hu
also, is the voltmeter on it accurate?
and i cant figure out how to work the ipod adapter, can anyone give me some himts?

To see how accurate the voltmeter is hook up a DMM and see the difference.

Most HU voltmeters will give a fairly accurate reading of the voltage at the HU

That said, nobody cares what the voltage at the HU is. Voltage at the amp(s) is what matters.

Assuming you have a CD-IB100II or CD-IB100 ipod adapter: connect the yellow cable to the power wire of the car's wiring harness, and do the same with the ground (to the ground, of course). I have my head unit and ipod adapter both crimped to the power wire at the same location.

Plug in the bus cable to the back of the head unit (match the color) and the other end to the "IP-BUS OUT" on the adapter.

Hope that helps, sorry if I used any incorrect terms.
