ehhh don't push it...they might fit but you'd be better off gettin' 17s and lowering it...18s would have such low profile tires you'd be getting flats every other week...if you get big rims, yea you might have to realign some stuff, not to mention, i think cavs either have front discs and rear drums...and drum brakes plus rims = eww

Personally, I wouldn't do any work to a Cavalier. Save your money and get something nice, then you can do some stuff to customize it. No offense, just my 2 cents.

lol...I thought you meant something like putting 18"s on a cavalier, like through the roof, not in a cavalier, like in the trunk.

I wasn't expecting it to be about RIMS...lol

ditto on the cavalier about not fixing it up.. unless you did a motorswap for the cobalt ss motor or a 3.8SC from a monte carlo :-)

when i talk about cars being crappy i don't mean by looks :-)

but to answer your question..

18s will fit just fine but your not going to have much sidewall on your tires..

you'd prolly end up running a 225/40r/18

That's a good point man. The only thing is, who knows what he gets next. EVO! Personally, by the time I'm 35 I'd like to have a drop-top, rear engine, with subs in the front compartment, a Duramax 2500, and an Aprilia RXV with a second set of wheelies, set up for motard. You'd have a vehicle for everything then.
