i am deciding how to mount my 2 12" ssd's and 2 4" aeroports on my box. it is in a trunk and here are my 4 options:

1) subs facing back, ports on drivers side
2) subs facing back, one port facing back one on drivers side
3)sub on each side of box facing to the side, ports facing back
4)subs facing back, port on each side

which would be best?

I would choose either 2 or 4 but I have always had the impression that it would have better output with subs facing back and ports facing back (same direction)

trunk, acura tl 3.2

can't really fit another port, and i can't find one long enough. needs to be 21" long for 3 ports

Ok.Try all of the above and find out what works best through actual testing.Whether that's SQ,SPL or whatever.

yeah i'd try that but i don't really think by box will be air tight with numerous 6" holes all over the place.

Sean I figured that a person such as yourself who is so tight with the admin would know that we have a couple real nifty features called "edit" and "delete". Look into it sparky.
