only posting it here cause i know it get answered faster. but i have a old audiovox 250 watt rampage amp. i got it for like 20 bucks years ago used it on a side project. but now i don't have money for a speaker amp this one i feel will take it fine. considering the 2 fronts are 60 rms infinity's and the back 50 rms alpins type s. so my question is i have 2 gains on it, one front,one back, its a 4 ch. so what test tone can i run through the hu and how do i find a voltage cause not sure the sub calculator will work.
btw i figure being 250 watts it be 62.5 watts roughly a speaker
u would use 1khz. but for speakers u prolly dont need to use a dmm cause its easier to detect distortion on speakers than subs, that is if u have good subs. but just turn the gain up till its loud and clear with no distortion
