I hooked a PS (Power Source) to my meter and it read 1 amp and 18 volts. Another measured 1.5 amps and 12 volts.

In series the voltage added together with 1.25 amps and in parallel I measured 15 amps with 15 volts.


It doesn't quite make sense to me that I would get 6x more the wattage in parallel than in series.

Can someone explain this? My guess would be that the current potential increases? Thanks for the help!


Also, it was with a short circuit.
