ive been running alpine type r's in my car for almost 3 years now. I just got a 2000 accord coupe and im thinkin about getting a new amp before installing. i have 2 1242's and i've been running them at 1 ohm stable off of a D1200 orion. which gets them about 300 watts RMS a piece
is it logical to get the D2400 or another mono block which pushes a little more? im thinkin these subs can handle 600 watts if i turn the gain down on the amp but i really dont know...
