DC is using a level setup ... ya know sq sql spl .. etc
entry level is the lv2 with a double stacked 2.5" coil

Lv3 is a triple stack 3" coil,

Lv4 thats back to double stack just alot larger diameter and a flat wound coil to take more power

Lv5 thats still in the works is the SPL woofer

plus they have stickers, and hats that they'll give me, and I have to go to comps and show their stuff off, I think the only reason I dont want to go with them is because there a new company, and I dont want to be sponsered and buy there stuff and have it blow or something get fried and have to buy it again

just for the record, if you blow a sub when you're being sponsored i think the company will do all they can to keep you happy bc the last thing a new company needs is bad publicity...

I'd get the d6's bc diamond products are just great products in general and then you won't have any obligations to go to comps or anything...

btw, d6's sound awesome as do d3's

yeah, I always though that being sponsered meant that you get your subs for free??? and that is one reason why I dont want to be sponsered is the comps, yeah they'd be cool but I dont want to have to go to ALL of them, I do think I will be going with the D6's unless DC can drop there prices more,

Ps: I think the sponsership is a rip, I dont see how the V3(looks just like thr 8" SS rli) can be a 325$ sub. correct me if I'm wrong

Thanks for all the props on our subs, we have been working on them for a while now. I have never been to this site before someone just told me there was a thread about our subs here. The sponsorship program is for a limited amount of compeditors and it was 50% off retail. we only asked that they attend some shows otherwise what good does it do the company to discount subs is nobody will ever see them :-) The SS Rli is a 200-500 watt sub, It was compared to our LV3 woofer that is more money, you get more, first all our LV3 woofers are larger, we don't offer a 8 so its kinda a wierd comparison but, our woofer is 600/1200 watts so more power handling is the first thing I see, we chrome our motors,(higher build cost) we also offer a upgrade on the LV3 driver for 25 bucks, it comes with a stiffer spider and a flat wound coil instead of round bumping up the power handling a few hundred watts. Theres a few other things like X-max, I will have the site up in a couple days so you can do a TS comparison. Thanks again for considering our woofers.

DC Audio doesn't use a build house. They are all built by the owner of DC Audio in his shop in Sparks, NV.

I know you guys have emails sent and they will be answered shortly. Rusty has been swamped lately trying to get everything together.

Thank you for your patience.

Those are consumer prices available to anyone who is interested in purchasing subs. Subs are availabalbe and ready to order.

Here are the coil option another member requested.

Lvl 2 d4 only

lvl 3 are d4 standard but there is a dual 2 flat wound coil option, you will lose a tiny bit of excursion but will gain a couple hundred watts of power handeling, a 25 dollar upgrade.

lvl 4 are d2's
