ok sorry for the title, but I couldnt think of one, but yeah the question, I am planning on getting my first system soon, and I was wondering if you think 1000rms is to much, I either want 2 10" diamond D6's with 500rms each or a single 15" D6 on 600 rms, and what I am wondering is will the 400wt difference be big or should I just go for the 1000rms system???
with almost double the power there will definately be a difference ....also 2 10's have more surface area than one 15. I'm going to bed now, maybe someone will give you more of an answer
You'll need either a 2 ohm stable or a 1 ohm stable depending on how you wire them up.

And depending on which amp u r using, u could be underpowering the 10's.
I plan on using a sae1000D to power either, I'll either wire the 10"s(dual 4) in parallel to get 1 ohm or with the 15" wire it to 2 ohms and get 600rms, and killa that was my exact thoughs last night lol, I would but then i would need to get a saz1500D and thats a bit more then the other, but if I could get the 1500 for around the same price I'd do it
