I had the car detailed today and since it looks clean I thought I would take pictures of the complete system. enjoy.

I have 3 of the 6 amps in today, 2 NINe.1s and a NINe.2x. I just installed the Audiocontrol last weekend, and its amazing. Still waiting on my new kinetics and I want to get a different alarm soon, other than that im pretty much done until next year.

oh and also what does that sub on top of sub setup do anyways.? wouldnt that just be cutting out the surface area of the tops of each of those 4 subs, making the system quieter?

thanks guys.

monkey man, ive probably paid close to 4000 on everything. i usually get around 2000 bucks then i upgrade, but its worth the wait everytime.
yes, it is as if i have 2 15s as far as surface area, but in the isobaric box the low curve peaks much more than in a regular box. so i pick up a huge SPL boost at like 34hz rather than 40hz, which is totally worth it. i used to have them all firing up like this...

i hit 152.6dB with them firing up. but i still think i could break 150 with the way it is right now, although i havent mic'd it yet. right now i have my gains on 1/4th, bassboost completely off, and the bass on the Audiocontrol on 2. so like it is now id be lucky to hit 145 with music.

jake has an isobaric box its purpose is to utilize 4 subs in an enclosure that would be the optimal for a pair of that same woofer

I have everything set up for pretty much complete SQ right now. maybe 70%sq 30%sql, but its about as close to a sound quality system as youll see with 4 15s.

"Still IMO the cleanest install on E."

You must have missed the Beast From The East truck. That was easily the cleanest install but Jake's is nice as hell for a DIY install. The other guy had a shop do his.

I saw that BFTE install and I actually made the very last comment months ago in that thread Rob, but that guy is a pro with endless $$$ to throw in. I meant Jake's is the cleanest install out of everyone here that doesn't do this for a living. He did a Hell of a job, especially for his age.

i didnt do everything myself, i had alot of help on the door pannels and some help on the sub box design.

"yo wat happen to that box with the 4 12's???"
ive never had 4 12"s thats 4 15s"

yes cal im 18, ive been installing random stuff since i was 16. ive probably done 10-12 installs but this is the only one with fiberglass.

justin isobaric boxes are the way to go if you have the extra woofers. i wouldnt suggest someone buying 4 subs just to make one though.

thanks for all the positive words guys! :-)
