New member Username: BighedstevPost Number: 3 Registered: Nov-05 | Ok so I bought my dad a new car stereo from Crutchfield last Christmas and he just now got around to installing it. I would have done it myself it if weren't for his whacky schedule and now I really wish I had done it myself - it wouldn't be such a mess now. Anyways, instead of plugging the adapter crutchfield supplied to go between the factory wiring harness and the car stereos wiring harness, my brilliant dad cut the factory wiring harnesses completely off and left the "go between" harnesses alone. We both tried to figure out what each wire on the truck side went to what wire on the new stereo side but haven't had much luck. Does anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for a 99 Dodge Ram quad cab? And does anyone have any advice or tips for me to finish installing this stereo? Any and all help is much appreciated and please accept my thanks in advance. Thanks, Steve |
