If i was running 1000-1200 watts rms on a 110 amp alternator would i have to make any upgrades to the electrical system.

Most likely not. The big 3 is always good though.

What are the main signs you need to upgrade, headlights dimming, things like that?

I survived a year with 1400 rms on a 70 amp alternator in my civic. Only had it cranked while I was revving high on the highway, and didn't notice any dimming. Not that it would have lasted much longer, but you should be okay with a 110. What does an rsx have for a battery? Cause I definately destroyed the little piece of sh!t in my civic. If I'd have kept it, I definately would have run a bigger, deep cycle, into the trunk.
