The JL w6v2 will sound very clean. The CVR's will get pretty loud. Ask your friend if the subs are dual 4 or dual 2 voice coils. If he doesn't know, take the sub out and look in the back of the sub to find out. Then we can tell you what amp to get. But, you will need a amp that does 800rms.

wire you subs up like this http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard/2_2ohmDVC_2ohm.gif and then get a kicker 750.1 amplifier. They should work well together.

yes, if you get two jl w6's make sure they're both dual 2. If you only want one, make sure its dual 2, wire it in series to get 4 ohm load, that amp will do near 1000 watts. so pretty much your good to go. the jl w6v2 can only handle 400rms so yeah.

no, when you only have one sub woofer wire it to 4ohms (series). But when you have two subs, wire it to 2ohm load.
