i have heard a lot about the escort 8500 but not much about the 9500i. i looking for a good laser detector because cops don't really use radar anymore right? i just want to know which would be a good buy? are these any good or is there something better can u help me here? i want to but one soon so the more help the better.thx.
i live in cincinnati so i've been into the escort headquarters. i spoke with a couple people in there who said there was no difference in terms of the 9500 being able to detect cops better than the 8500...the only differences were the bells and whistles...the gps, etc.
