which one would be better with a JBL BP1200.1 amp

The amp pushes out 1200 watts @2 ohms

The alpine type r's are also dual 2 ohm and they are recommened at 500 watts RMS and the diamond audio subs have a recommened 600 watts RMS which sub would you guys choose i am on a budget and the alpines are about $45 a sub cheaper so idk but which sub would you guys choose

You cant go wrong with either. Which ever you decide, make sure you box(ported) it proper.

My choice would have to be Diamond though. I just installed an old C3d2 in my buddys car and it sounded very good considering the rest of the system he has.

I think his $$ do include shipping. Not positive. He quoted me a box that I just couldn't justify spending the money on. He's got a great rep, don't get me wrong. I was just feeling his prices out. My quote was also for a HT sub so that may have made a big difference.

If that includes shipping it's a very good price for a well made box.

BTW the $110 on the R is likely without shipping, the cheapest I've found it is $125 shipped for the R . On ebay the Diamonds can be had for $152 shipped
