Gold Member Username: AdddisorderWest palm, Florida Post Number: 3395 Registered: Jan-06 | id just get the 250a incase you decide to ever add another amp or whatever you be in the clear. you could get away with a 150a if you wanted. and instead of getting that D block you could always cut off some of the wire at the end to make it skinnier so the 1/0 will fit in the 4g amp terminal if you want. |

That's why I asked about a 2nd amp because the 150A should be adjusted for it if it's sizeable at all. But yeah, the 250A will work too. And not to pile on, but Rob, the fuse at the batt is for wire protection only. Fuses on or near the amp are the only fuses intended for amp protection. In my personal experience, however, the only time I've blown an on board fuse the amp was already toast. |
