I usually use screws, but i did get to use a buddies nail-gun awhile back to build his box. It was faster putting it together, didnt have to worry w/ counter-sinking screws. That box is a rock too! 4.5cuft net w/ interchangable ports. Did 145.1dB w/ an MTX 8500 15" on 800wrms.

As long as you use good glue and your nail-gun will 'pull' the panels together, nail-guns are just as good as screws. The glue is what actually holds the box together...the glued joint (w/ good glue) will actually be stronger than the panel itself.

For glue, I always use Elmer's Wood Glue or Gorilla Glue. Gorilla expands as it drys though...if you have a few small gaps you may want to use it. (more expensive though) Elmer's Wood Glue is good stuff. Titebond is also dam strong glue.

I really dont like using Liquid Nails.
That stuff is actually designed to provide a flexable joint...and that is a no-no for sub boxes.

Been using an Air Nailer ever since I started this business for build enclosures.

If your box parts are cut clean, true and square, assembly is a breeze with brad nailer/

And Canaan is correct, Liquid Nails is crap for building subwoofer enclosure's since it does not create a bond like a good wood glue.
