as you all may be aware, i am wanting a Q very much. i want that SQ driver that can get really loud. now heres the question. my local shop has a 15" treo SS (he says its the older model of the ssi) that he could give me for a great price (not sure how great but it will less than a Q), with a warranty. what is the retail new? would it work in a ported box thats 3.5 cubes at 32.4Hz? finally, how would it sound compared to a Q?
i didn't want it new, i just wanted to know how much it would be worth. i know treo was popular for a while, and i wanna know why it isn't anymore. why is everyone selling their treo subs? btw, i plan on feeding it 1200rms.
i guess it realy depends on how low he will go on the price. im not trying to kill anyone with my system, and i'm sure it will sound way better than my old kicker comps, so ill keep yall posted on whether or not i go treo.
