I just bought a Pioneer DEH-p4800MP head unit...its fantastic, except for one thing.
When playing an MP3 disk, I followed the manual's instructions on randomizing the playback of tracks - setting the repeat (I tried both disc and folder) and then turning random on.
Well, if I do not touch anything and just let the MP3-CD play, it plays the tracks in a random order. However, if I press the "next" (the right arrow) button to move to a new track, it no longer randomizes (yet still says RDM on the display) and starts playing the tracks in numerical order. It's really annoying and seems highly bizarre.
Is this standard with this HU or is it some sort of issue with the HU I purchased? Thanks in advance!
