The only issue I really see with your setup is with the amp. The 1200.1 doesnt have a subsonic filter, which becomes an issue when using ported enclosures. Being tuned to 32, will mean that anything below 32 Hz, the port will act as a "hole" in the enclosure and allow the sub to unload as if in free air. Definitely not a good thing to do to a sub. So you will need to watch things carefully when selecting music to play at high volume levels to avoid over excursion of the Q. This goes for any sub in a ported enclosure using an amp without a subsonic filter. Other than that, a Q15 D1 (dual 1 Ohm wired in series for a single 2 Ohm load for your amp) will work great. WHAT TO DO???? is there any fix to this problem? |
