here is part of a letter from scott at Fi:

Thanks for the inquiry. The only issue I really see with your setup is with
the amp. The 1200.1 doesnt have a subsonic filter, which becomes an issue
when using ported enclosures. Being tuned to 32, will mean that anything
below 32 Hz, the port will act as a "hole" in the enclosure and allow the
sub to unload as if in free air. Definitely not a good thing to do to a
sub. So you will need to watch things carefully when selecting music to
play at high volume levels to avoid over excursion of the Q. This goes for
any sub in a ported enclosure using an amp without a subsonic filter.
Other than that, a Q15 D1 (dual 1 Ohm wired in series for a single 2 Ohm
load for your amp) will work great.

WHAT TO DO???? is there any fix to this problem?

Some HUs have a subsonice filtr built in. I think you can buy external ones too..

i asked scott about them, he said he had no experience with them personally but they must work since they wouldn't be on the market for the last 15 years if they sukt. so canaan, these would allow me peace of mind with pretty much all music?
