Adjusting gain with dmm

i just got a dmm. now what do i do to set the gain?

well yeah that works.. i was going to tell him the process

one thing to keep in mind is box rise.. i always set my gain voltage a little higher than my target voltage because of the box rise. i don't know how to figure the exact voltage but im sure marshall does

depends.. i'd use the note your box peaks at.. play a note that is 8-10hz higher than your tuning frequencu.. you should be looking for 49v but i'd set the gain between 50-52v

"dcv 5" "dcv 25" "dcv 125" "acv 50" or like "acv 10"? thx

setting it at 250 acv will still give you the readings. mine just has 200 and 500 acv but i guess you got one that has more options.

if you are estimating a measurement of 6v, your should set the dmm to a 10v scale..

basically you always want to use a larger scale than what u are meassuring or estimating from calculations!

dont use to high of a scale, like 1000 to measure something in the 10ths ... etc...
