How do you keep slot ported from having port noise??

Also, does anyone know where you can buy box carpet that isn't the standard black or grey? Maybe some with graffix on it or just something different? | |

I had another thread earlier that was titled "Can someone help" This is the first ported box that I have ever made so I was just making sure I wouldn't get any port noise. | |

Sorry for the stupid question. measurments of the port is 4" width x 12.5" tall x 14.75" length. It is a 2 cube box. Does this sound right? Its for 2 12" assassins. | |

(2cuft per sub) u measure the opening the port creates... 4" x 12.5" = 50sq inches 50sq inch / 4cuft = 12.5sqin/cuft That box doesnt sound right though...4cuft w/ 50sq in port 14.75" long would tune to ~40hz. I would tune those 12's to ~35hz for daily. |
