That was loud....

Ok. Ill hav a few lil pics up later. right now ive got the 2 DD512s ina small sealed box...maybe 1.3cuft each.(had to borrow any box i could find). Anyways i jus went out and ran sum sweeps and tones on em and all i can say is HOLY SH!t, these things were loud. Especially from 35-45hz. I couldnt put the volume on my laptop up over 1/2 way b/c neighbors around here dont like loud music.
I cut all the Bass Boost and stuff off on my amp, here in a lil bit ima go back out and set it all and then try it out again.

I think u r wrong !!

They are not 512 sub's

PLZ make sure .. I think they are 9500 series ..

512 sub is 200-300 RMS .

I would like to do that ..

And BTW , I hope u can change to ported Box and make it large 1.3 is very small for 9512's ..

Yeah im goin ported. But i hadnt got to hook em up so i borrowed that box to check em out. keepn the gains and all turned down for now jus to give a lil bass but not really let em loose. Im going to build my box sometime, but probably jus a temporary one, im not buildin my final one until i get into carpentry class and can use the tools next semester. Then i will be doing ~6cu.ft. w/roughly 80sqin of port tuned to 40hz.

lol. I dont have anythin else to put em in right now, i was gunna try and get a cheap prefab, but i figured id wait til i had time to build a temporary one in bout a week or 2.

If you use your laptop as an input source be sure to go throught advanced settings on your volume control (liitle speaker icon bottom right)it has separate bass control, this could effect your setup. Polo.. :-)

I've messed around with the settings lately and its soundin awesome...especially for a sealed box like its in. Wish i had another 2500d tho :-).
