k here is the deal guys. i got some family coming on thanksgiving and they are gonna stay until january 2, 2007. i need my backseat back in my car cause i need to drive them around.

i still need bass so i was thinking of buying a fi q to keep me going for that time. so here are my options.

1 12 inch fi q 1ohm so i can run it at 2 ohms to my orion 2500d. giving me 1700wrms.

2 10 inch fi q 1 ohm so i can run it at 1 ohm to my orion 2500d. giving me a full 2500wrms.

i don't want to crowd the trunk space so no single 15 or no 2 12s. besides i think the 10s will have killer sq. i might become a 10 inch wanger.

also for those of you who are wondering........NO I AM NOT SELLING MY BTLS.

WTF !

a 'good' reason 2 buy more subs then

1 of ur btl sealed would be a next option

but since space is the issue i'd go 1 12 FI Q .....

i would get the 2 10's in your case.

will be louder than the single 12" and will sound very good:-)

i guess the question should be asked: are you more concerned with space, or getting loud?? :-)

yea rovin. unfortunately you are right. i say unfortunately cause i can't be going out and buying another car.

what i plan on next year is to make a nice sq car.

get a dvd with 5.1 surround processor. put another set of focals in the rear and a nice single sq sub in the trunk. then i am through.

as for the btls, if i don't get a suv next year, i will end selling them probably.

i understand ur predicament man - u need bump & space too lol

as ur car is still fairly new u can get back a good price on it & u can buy like a mid or mini sized japanese SUV . That way u get space/bump,style,comfort & dont end up looking like a soccer mom LOL

this y i got me a wagon upfront cause its multi purpose

seriously think my next set will be either a single sub 12/15 or maybe all out 4 10s since i only got 45" of width in my trunk OR may get BOTH box sub combos & change it out depending on my mood .....

just build a box for 1 of your BTL's and stick it in the trunk.

i mean dam...how hard would it be to build a ~16.5"x20"x30" box???

$50 vs $500....um...your choice here.

Hmmm... Id say the 2 10s to make a little better use of the power... but then again that is close to twice the cost of a single 12.
Not sure if I saw or not... but are you looking to do sealed with these? Are you still wanting output, just trying to save space?

12"

if my calculations are correct. using the EBP(and looking at Qts, and Fs and whatnotsssss), the 12's perform better sealed than will the 10's. the 10's are more of a ported sub.
