hey guys, whats up? Even though I believe I already have my mind made up on what subwoofers I want to get for my next system, im still looking around at other brands of subs. So out of these subs, which would be the best suited for scoring high in SPL and for everyday driving?

ya, i really like the T4-12's and I think they would be great subs, but it's just that I don't know if I could place 1st in a comp with those. im really considering those Mag's that Muddy talked about with me, but im not sure if i would have enough money to buy two of them since i would also have 2 buy the amps, wiring upgrades, and an h/o alt

which pioneer sub? the TS-W3004SPL or TS-W5102SPL? or both!

ok, since pioneer seems to be on the spot here, let me shorten the selection:

2 Pioneer Premier TS-W3004SPL's
vs
1 Pioneer Premier TS-W5102SPL
vs
2 Soundstream T4-12's
vs
2 Soundstream SPLX-12's
vs
1 Mag

so what do you guys think now? still pioneer?

rofl you threw that mag in there at the last second.

i'd take the mag over any of those, even though i've never heard a mag in person.

3004/3002 premier is what we both were talking about

spoke 2 a dealer here who told me 5000 premier is not really a musical daily sub but more of a SPL numbers sub so i dont think it would be a good choice 4 u . Also u will need $$$$ to get a good amp 4 that 5000

SS makes good stuff but i dont want 2 tell u go 4 it when i havent heard those & the others too ........

well ive saved up $1600 to buy some good quality stuff and i want to make sure i get the best bang for my buck!

"rofl you threw that mag in there at the last second"

lol, ya, well ive talked to Muddy about the Mag's and they seem pretty sweet. Only problem is there price but uk what, you get what you pay for. so they must be good right!?

i dont know why, but im still interested in learning more about the Soundstream SPLX-12's. Does anyone know how well they perform?

i am telling you bman3, you throw a pair of 12 inch ssi's in a 2.5 cuft box tuned to 28hz and you will have one awesome sq setup.

you and your pairs of subs, always compensating for something. lolol j/k

if you want more output, 2 Si BMs is for you man. they need about the same power as one Mag, and they won't sound that much different, if anything like the 12" Challenge stated, a single BM just doesn't have the same output as a MAg, but if you look on the SPL charts on the Challenge, the BM is only a couple db's behind. with half the power

Honestly, you probably don't have the proper power nore the room for two Treo SSX's. I am a bass head and one 2500+ is enough for daily, leaves you with burning ears and a migrane, lol. Polo.. :-O
