I would go CVX. L7s are poorly built. I've owned a 15L7 and was actually more impressed with the CVRs, havent heard CVXs tho.

Exactly. Definately a better choice. Should get close to as loud, and sound alot better.

i don't have much room and my truck is in the shop right now from getting the window blown out.

but once it's back i'll take measurements.

if i go cvx's i'm going to put them all in a big ported box. 2.5cuft chambers ported to 33-35hz.

the guy at my local audio store said in order to make them fit you would have to have two firing at the ceiling and one on each side angled at about fourty five half way between the ceiling and doors. anyone want to help me design this box??

i have a few measurements right now if you want.

i'm going to put in a false floor due to a little hump at the back of the truck. i want the box to be no more than 16 inches deep(from front of ext cab to the rear windshield). and each chamber no more than 14 inches wide. so we're looking at about 59.75 inches long including all four chambers and .75in mdf seperating the chambers.

now the height should be what we have as a variable for our port and whatever. but i'll let you know exactly how much we have to work with on monday.
