Gold Member Username: Extrmndor3Chicago, Ill Us Post Number: 2360 Registered: Feb-06 | if u dont have a chargind system 1 farad in 1k rms will feel like .35 farad, if u got charing 1 farad to 1 k rms its pretty d@mn good, i had a power acoustik 5 farad in a 700 rms set up wth the cap as close as posible in stock electrical and the cap wasnt able to keep up. i installed the samecap but in 3 farad in a 4.8k rms set up with 4 kickers l7 with 1k rms to each l7 IMPRESIVE with chargin system and 1 battery it still dimeed at high volumes but i installed a 3 farad and the dimmin stopp it and it was 3 farad on a 4.5 k rms |

Gold Member Username: James1115Ct Post Number: 7126 Registered: Dec-04 | Rockford just came out with one of the only cap's I would ever think about using. it is a 100 fared but it is $1300 Anything under 5 fared's in useless with todays long bass notes, it disipates so fast that it spends to much time recharging while the bass notes are still going. I would not use anything under 10-20fared but thats me. |
