Hey I noticed that you have the same HU as me, the 9813. I was curious, do you use the MX? It seems like I HAVE to, otherwise I hardly get any bass. I got my gain set properly, and my normal settings are with the MX on and subwoofer level at +6.
^^Was that english? Oh and I just realized your name ISN'T James Longo... huh. Why did you feel the need to reply to this thread when I was clearly talking to James Longo? Hmm... your not very bright are you? No, no didn't think so.
I have a 9830 wich also has the MX feature. I have a feeling I noticed the same thing as you. For some reason everything sounds like crap with it turned off.
My sub level goes up to 15 I think, I usually set it half way at about 7 or 8. It's all I really need. If I'm blasting it to show off for somebody I'll put it all the way up, but it's definitely not necessary, and it overpowers the mid and vocals when set all the way up.
Driving I had no idea what the hell you were saying and all I saw was you calling me a "lil bitch". So if you were intending to be joking and funny it didn't really come across that way.
That's good Joe. I alwasy thought that having my sublevel at 6 was too high or something and I though something might be wrong with my amp or HU or something. Just glad my system is working just fine! Thanks bro
james short(opposite of long)stop(opposite of go) ur a lil b!tch..... NOW lets break this down so u can understand it james shortstop(his name) ur a lil b!tch
NOWHERE IN THT WHOLE SENTENCE DO I SEE ME CALLIN U A 'LIL BI!TCH' DO U?
Isaac - not James Longo, but have a 9813 as well (running a 880prs now) but i never had a problem with the sub output, never ran MX and never had to boost the sub level.
MX over emphasizes the lows and highs and adds distortion too soon imo.
i'd double check your crossover settings and gains again.
^^^ Are you serious dude? I feel that my gain is rather high as it is. I Have the subwoofer crossover set to 80 db on the HU and the slope on 3 which I think is like 12db/oct. Does that sound ok?
